The Ted-X Paris Saclay 2022 was about Coherence. It was impossible for Elise to resist the urge to talk about the coherence properties of light, those that allowed us to develop our medical imaging device.
How do we go from images of forests seen from space, to images of the circulation of a beating heart? The coherence properties of light, as well as the study of its polarization, could have something to do with it. Beyond the study of physical phenomena, innovation is a story of human encounters, of passionate researchers sharing a taste for curiosity, and a deep desire to have fun.
