The team’s latest work on dynamic speckle images applied to a beating heart (ECHORONEX project) was just published in Journal of Biomedical Optics, and also featured on SPIE news! You can read the open-access paper here on SPIE’s digital library:

Aurélien Plyer, Elise Colin, Xavier Orlik, Ali Akamkam, Julien Guihaire, “Imaging the vasculature of a beating heart by dynamic speckle: the challenge of a quasiperiodic motion,” J. Biomed. Opt. 28(4) 046007 (25 April 2023) https://doi.org/10.1117/1.JBO.28.4.046007

It concerns our non-invasive #laser imaging method, using depolarized #dynamicspeckle, for monitoring the activity of a #heart #graft (ECHORONEX project), for #cardiac #surgery. The major difficulty was to adapt our device to an organ under perfusion which moves permanently.
